Wine Quiz Answer: D. Mondeuse Blanche & Dureza
Despite legends that Syrah originated in Persia, or was brought from Sicily by Roman legions, Carole Meredith's research indicates that Syrah is native to southeastern France. Mondeuse Blanche comes from Savoie, and Dureza is from the Ardeche, west of the Rhone River.
