Back Room Wines hosts a sit-down tasting of some of the best 2006 vintage Chateauneuf du Papes. This is the fourth outstanding vintage in a row for this very special Southern Rhone Valley appellation. The 2006s, just coming into the United States, should be a little young but still very enjoyable. Back Room Wines has been a Chateauneuf-du-Pape house since it opened. You can expect an exceptional line up of wines at this tasting. Sit down, silent tasting with discussion to follow. Limited to 13 tasters. Purchase your tasting(s) ahead of time to insure your seat. Tasting starts promptly at 6:00.
